After a year you could have you own drill rig with your own offsiders, Supervisor roles once you have 10 years + experience.
-Blast Crew
Working for a drill and blast company which has the contract for the drilling and blasting in open pit mines. You will work under the shot firer and help with the deployment of the explosives for the daily blast. Down the track you can become a shot firer and then a leading hand and then a supervisor.
-Mining Cleaning Jobs
Where the workers sleep need to be cleaned once a day aswell as the toliets, showers, food hall and office building. You need a full car manual licence to drive the cleaning vechiles e.g Toyota Utes.
-Survery Assistant
In exploration there is alot of surverying done after a hole is drilling by a drilling company. Your job is to work with your surveying boss who is sub contracted to anaylyse how much gold or nickel in down the drilled hole and surrounding area. Cruisy Job, just need the basics.
-Mining Labouring jobsThere are many good paying labouring jobs in the mines. Many are through the work agencies they do pay well, as they are normally short term so pay a premium price for your services.
